Keri is deeply passionate about inspiring pride in identity and celebrating indigenous innovation.  We are committed to cultural and creative expression defined by our indigenous values, whānau, community and Te Ao Māori.

Built from a foundation of cultural expression, every piece, every garment, every collection, every project is a story of whakapapa - who we are and where we come from.

Establishing her design studio with husband Hemi after studying fashion in 2006,  Keri has come through the ranks of Aotearoa's fashion sector as a regular participant of Miromoda and New Zealand Fashion Week.  She has showed nationally and internationally and is passionate about her work in the creative and cultural sectors.  A decade and some on, her design portfolio spans fashion / textile design and development, civic, educational and community design and social innovation projects.

Keri has 20+ years working in kaupapa Māori organisations, her considered and responsive design principles give voice to her many projects.  A champion of rangatahi pathways and indigenous-led solutions, Keri is a resilient advocate for reshaping the view of ethnographic design within the fashion and textile sectors.

'My design approach is unquestionably about people and place, self-determined futures and empowerment of thriving indigenous eco-systems.'
